A new campaign is being launched to reduce the number of older people in Devon drinking too much alcohol.
Devon has been chosen as one of five trial areas for the the Drink Wise Age Well project, external, which hopes to cut the number of over 50s who are drinking more than they should.
People are being urged to ignore the stigma about talking about how much they drink and seek help if they think it's a problem.
Research carried out by the charity suggests that over 50s may begin to drink more because of "difficult life transitions", such as retirement, loneliness, or children leaving home.
