    UKIP leader Paul Nuttall has said he needs time to sort out the , following a row between their only MP - Clacton's Douglas Carswell - and former leader Nigel Farage who wants him kicked out.

    "It's not a one-man band anymore and the one man who was running the band is not the leader any more," - those were the words of Douglas Carswell (pictured) whose interview with the Sunday Times was calling on Farage to give it a rest.

    Mr Carswell said he is 100% UKIP and 100% behind the new leader.

    Paul Nuttall gave his first interviews yesterday  (including BBC1's Andrew Marr show - video below) since losing the Stoke by-election. He backed Mr Carswell and sent a message to Mr Farage saying he was running the show and UKIP needs to move forward.
