    London Irish have said they will hold a minute's silence before the kick-off of Wednesday’s Greene King IPA Championship Play-off Final between London Irish and Yorkshire Carnegie at the Madejski Stadium.

    The team at the Madejski Stadium work closely with the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) and security and safety arrangements will be in place including bag checks on arrival. Supporters are asked to only bring a bag to the match if really necessary and to leave extra time to enter the stadium.

    In a statement, the Slough multi-faith group said: “We, along with our residents, stand together today in condemning the horrendous attack in Manchester last night.

    “There is no explanation, no excuse, no justification for this mass-murder of innocent people; young people just enjoying a night out.

    “Just days ago, in Slough, we celebrated our communities in a dance event where people from all races, backgrounds and religions came together to enjoy all that unites us.

    “We cheered for each other, cheered our diversity and now we stand in shock at the horror perpetrated by someone who does not share our values and is willing to inflict such violence on others.

    “Slough, with all its races and religions, is united in abhorrence at this unprovoked violence, the taking of innocent lives and we add our voices to those around the world; terrorists do not represent us, this does not represent any faith, no religion sanctions acts of evil.

    “Our thoughts are with the victims, their families and friends and we ask Slough residents to come together and support each other, stand together, united against those who would try and divide us, united in our belief in freedom, community and peace.”

    A farmer from Bletchingdon has been ordered to pay more than £1,200 in fines and costs, after five dead sheep were found rotting on his land.

    James Edward Hedges, 54, from E C Hedges and Sons, pleaded guilty to three offences of failing to dispose of animal remains appropriately and failing to keep details of animal disposals and medical records

    Pompey Chief Executive Mark Catlin says he expects the clubs takeover to be a smooth transition.

    The Supporters' Trust has voted in favour of former Disney chief executive Michael Eisner's proposal to buy Portsmouth Football club. He may not officially take charge for a couple of months.

    But Mr Catlin doesn't expect too many issues.

    Basingstoke and Deane Council has opened a book of condolences following the Manchester attack.

    In a statement, the local authority said: "After the senseless and tragic attack in Manchester, we're inviting people to leave messages of condolence, support and solidarity for all of those affected."

    Emma Collins and Annette Coombes, from Weymouth, were among the onlookers for the arrival of the Disney Magic cruise ship to Portland - and donned their Minnie Mouse t-shirts for the occasion.

    At more than 300m-long it is the biggest ship to enter Portland Port.

    The vessel arrived at the port at about 10:30 BST and is due to depart at about 19:15.

    Disney Magic is the biggest cruise ship to dock at Portland Port after a new £3m extended cruise berth was unveiled that allows it to accommodate larger ships.

    Police and port staff have urged members of the public not to enter the port to the view the vessel.

    A crashed van was left wedged over a pedestrian underpass by a man suspected of driving while drunk.

    Police said no other vehicle was involved in the accident, which happened at the junction of Petersfield Road and Stockheath Road in Havant, Hampshire, at 05:00 BST on Sunday.

    A 37-year-old Waterlooville man has been charged with driving a vehicle with an alcohol level above the limit.

    He has been bailed to appear before Portsmouth magistrates on 6 June.
