Fans of Jane Austen can head to places in Basingstoke and Winchester to enjoy a sculpture trail inspired by the novelist, who lived in the county and is buried at Winchester Cathedral.Sitting With Jane features decorated benches to mark the 200th anniversary of the novelist's death.
Each is shaped like an open book, every design is hand-painted by a professional artist in a style inspired by Jane Austen’s life and times in Basingstoke, Steventon and the surrounding area.
The trail and the associated app will give the opportunity to explore (and sit in) places and landscapes that were important influences on Austen's life and work – often undiscovered by visitors.
There will be 24 BookBenches to explore until 31 July.

The coroner for Dorset is seeking the assistance of the public to find the next of kin of a man who has died in Weymouth. Mark Davis, sometimes known as Marcus and who was 49 years old, died at his home address in Rodwell Road on 24 May. The coroner’s office has been making inquiries into his death, which is not being treated as suspicious, but has been unable to trace any next of kin for him. Any relative, or friend who has knowledge of his family members, is asked to contact the coroner's office on 01202 454910.
The main trustee of a loans charity has been banned from managing charities after unexplained transactions of more than £60,000 were made.
A Charity Commission inquiry into Hampshire-based Catalyst Trust found all its trustees were responsible for misconduct and mismanagement.
It also discovered loans were given to companies the main trustee had a personal interest in or connection to.
This person cannot act as a trustee in the management of any charity, it said.
Cameras have been installed to assess the extent of parking problems at two hospitals in Oxfordshire.
They were placed in car parks at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and Horton General Hospital in Banbury on Tuesday, and will remain in place until Monday.
It follows a report, published this week, external, which said there was "widespread frustration" at parking at both hospitals.
Earlier this year, the trust which runs both sites said it was planning five new multi-story car parks to address parking problems at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
A man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy on the Isle of Wight.
The alleged incident took place in Newport on Wednesday at about 15:40 BST.
The 36-year-old, of Shide Road in Newport has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and has been remanded in custody to appear at Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court today.

A 4x4 car left the M271 northbound near Southampton and overturned at the bottom of a bank early this morning.
Police said the "lucky" driver suffered a head injury which was not life-threatening.
The crash also involved a BMW car and caused delays getting into Southampton.
No-one else was injured.
Revised £100m plans for a multi-storey hotel and block of flats overlooking Poole Harbour have been approved.
Previous proposals for a 65-bed hotel and 75 homes at Salterns Marina, overlooking Brownsea Island (pictured), were approved in April last year.
However, revised plans for a six-storey, 75-bed hotel and spa, and seven-storey building with 54 homes have now been given the green light.
The development on the existing 200m (650ft) quay includes demolishing the existing two-storey Salterns Hotel.
His victim said he was convinced he would die after being left with a knife embedded in his head.

A teenage drug dealer who stabbed a customer leaving a knife embedded in his head has been detained for 12 years.
Winchester Crown Court heard it was a "miracle" that the victim survived the attack in Ashley Road, Bournemouth in January.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was convicted of wounding with intent and possessing a knife during an earlier trial. He also admitted supplying heroin and crack cocaine.

Detectives are appealing for help from the public to locate a Bournemouth man who is wanted after breaching the conditions of his licence.Lee Hogben, 33, was released from prison on 20 May after serving part of a six-month prison sentence for harassment.
Since his release, Hogben has breached the terms of his licence and a recall notice has been issued.
Hogben is described as white, about 6ft and of medium build with brown hair.
He is known to frequent the Boscombe area of Bournemouth.
