    • Hampshire Fire and Rescue service is over halfway through inspecting 237 high rise buildings following the Grenfell Tower fire. So far seven buildings have been identified as having the same type of cladding as Grenfell.
    • A man has suffered head injuries after being attacked in his home in Southampton.
    • The RSPCA is appealing for help after a malnourished dog was found abandoned in the New Forest.

    • There are calls for more storage to be made available for homeless people's belongings - after possessions were removed from the centre of Oxford. The City Council claims the bags were causing a hazard - but critics have described the action as "heavy-handed".
    • The rain in July 2007 led to an unprecedented number of properties in Oxfordshire being damaged by flood water. That's according to a local estate agent who says houses they never thought would flood, did.

    • Honour based abuse cases, including forced marriage, rape and false imprisonment, have increased in the Thames Valley. Figures for 2016 show a 113 incidents were reported to police in the last year, up from 69 in 2015.
    • Maidenhead's new fifteen hundred space car park will be discussed by councillors today.
