    The chief executive of the lowest-ranked club in this season's FA Cup says the competition should be given the credit it deserves.

    Non-league Westfields from Hereford face Curzon Ashton in the first round this weekend.

    Andy Morris, who formed the club in 1966 after being inspired by England's World Cup triumph, believes the competition "needs to be at the forefront of football".

    A dairy farmer has been coaching a Herefordshire football club for the biggest game in its 50-year history. 

    Andy Bevan fits in training Wesfields FC in between milking the cows on his farm at Orcop.

    The club is due to host Curzon Ashton this weekend, a team from two divisions higher, in round one of the FA Cup.

    NHS trusts in the West Midlands have a deficit of almost £200m between them, a BBC Sunday Politics investigation has found. 

    Many are blaming bed blocking, and the lack of investment in social care by local councils.

    While the clinical commissioning groups in Herefordshire and Worcestershire are all operating at a surplus, it's a different stories for the hospitals in the counties.

    As of March 2016, the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust had a £60m deficit, the biggest in the West Midlands.

    Wye Valley NHS Trust's deficit stood at £20m.

    The creator of the Birmingham-set BBC gangster drama Peaky Blinders is receiving an honorary degree later. 

    Award-winning screenwriter and director Stephen Knight from Walsall is being made a Doctor of Letters by the University of Worcester.

    I've been to meet Graham Oliver, a Stourport man whose kidneys stopped working suddenly because of a rare disease, leaving him desperately searching for a donor.

    His wife Kayleigh launched a campaign to help find him a kidney on Facebook and now he's finally had a transplant.

    Sam Austin has signed a new contract with Kidderminster Harriers, external, the club have announced.

    The 19-year-old joined the club from Burton Albion in the summer, and management say he has made a "big impression" since then.

    Two men who were arrested on suspicion of the murder of Hereford father Christian Bagley have had their bail extended by the police.

    The pair, who are from Hereford and aged 36 and 27, were arrested by officers in August. 

    Two Hereford women who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice have also had their bail extended. 

    Mr Bagley, 30, was repeatedly stabbed as he walked along the footpath next to the River Wye after visiting his young daughter on Father's Day last year.

    Shane Sutton says he will contest British Cycling's finding that he used sexist language towards Jess Varnish and that "the evidence will prevail".

    The former technical director was found to have used "inappropriate and discriminatory language" towards the Bromsgrove-based cyclist in last week's ruling. 

    Varnish, 25, said Sutton told her to "go and have a baby", which he denied.

    "I will produce the evidence," said 59-year-old Sutton. "Everything comes out in the dirty washing."

    The Bromsgrove MP, Sajid Javid, says the ruling by the High Court that Brexit must be triggered by parliament was a "clear attempt to frustrate the will of the British people".
