    A man has been punched and kicked on the ground by two men who robbed him in the street, police say, external.

    West Mercia Police say the attack happened on Tuesday at about 07:45 as the man was walking in the alleyway between Shrub Hill station and Tolladine Road (pictured).

    Two men attacked him and stole his iphone, a spokesman said.

    West Mercia Police has been rated as good following a government inspection of all the forces across England and Wales

    The report by HMIC - also highlights a big drop in 999 calls made to the force - a drop of nearly 50% in the last five years. 

    This means West Mercia receives the lowest number of calls per head of population in the country.

    A dairy plant in Droitwich is to get a £5m share of a £60m investment package announced by Muller.

    The firm says Droitwich is "already one of the most advanced dairies in Europe" but the money will be used to make further improvements.

    The Goalball club based at the Royal National College for the Blind in Hereford is looking for more sighted people to get involved in the sport at a club level, both as players and officials.

    Developed to help soldiers recover in World War Two, it has become one of the fastest-growing disability sports in the country with participation increasing 325% since London 2012, the college says.

    It is played with blindfolds to ensure people with all levels of visual impairment can join in, but this also means that sighted people can take up the challenge.

    A Hereford primary school that relocated to the secondary school next door has been praised for improvements.

    Broadlands now shares a head teacher with the Aylestone Business and Enterprise College.

    A recent Ofsted inspection has rated the school as good - two years ago a similar inspection said that it needed "improvement" in all departments.

    The dairy firm Muller has announced it is investing £60m into its UK business - including at its plant in Droitwich (pictured).

    The money will go on upgrading facilities across the country and will create up to 180 new jobs the company says.

    Muller says it is planning to close its Chadwell Heath dairy in London - with the loss of almost 400 posts - as part of the restructuring.

    Plans to reopen the Broadway station has reached a significant landmark as track laying crossed the Worcestershire/Gloucestershire border.

    The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway's volunteer track-laying crew are now only three quarters of a mile (1.2km) from Broadway station (pictured below in 1906).

     - New rails have come from British Steel's rolling mill at Scunthorpe

    - The concrete sleepers being used weigh a quarter of a ton

    - Thousands of tonnes of stone ballast have come from a Forest of Dean quarry

    - Five bridges between Laverton and Broadway have been restored at a cost of over £500,000
