A landowner has been left to foot the bill of removing a huge pile of rubbish after it was dumped just off a country lane outside Birmingham.
Bromsgrove District Council said it was made aware of the fly-tipping about "a few weeks" ago, as well as the Environment Agency, police, county and parish councils and even the local MP.
The sign warning people not to fly-tip in the area was in fact added to the gate post after the offence Bromsgrove District Council said in a bid to support the landowner.

A black pear tree has been planted at County Hall in Worcester in honour of the men and women who worked at the city's Blackpole munitions factory during the two world wars.
Two former workers at the bullet plant, Kathleen Halford and Kathleen Smith attended the ceremony which also saw a plaque put up beside the tree.
The skin of many of the women turned yellow as a result of working with trinitrotoluene - more commonly known as TNT, which is why they were called "canary girls".
About a million women worked at thousands of Ministry of Munitions sites during both world wars, but how many died remains a mystery.
A campaign led by BBC Hereford and Worcester hopes to see records of how many workers died released, as well as to cement the place of munitions workers in war history.

Members of a church in Broadway are understandably proud of their latest edition to the congregation, after they spotted a baby peregrine in the stone work.
Two adult peregrines were seen nesting in St Michael and All Angels C of E Church last spring and this year the pair have successfully hatched an egg.
Quote MessageWe first noticed the baby a week ago, but were very careful not to tweet about it until we knew the young one could fly and we're in touch with the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust about how we can protect them next year."

One of the estimated 20,000 people who descended on Castlemorton Common near Malvern 25 years ago has described the week-long event as "just one party that slipped through the net".
Within two years the police were given more powers to stop and break up large open-air gatherings where loud music was being played.
Quote MessageWe just found a mate with car, got as many people into the car as we could, drove over from Worcester and just spent as long as we could here."

Work at Onibury railway crossing this summer will lead to a 60-mile diversion, according to an official route.
While local drivers will no doubt find their own way around the works, it's a different matter for heavy goods vehicles which can't use many of the same back roads - which the official diversion has to bear in mind.
A large lorry heading from Ludlow or Leominster to Craven Arms or Church Stretton (or vice versa) faces the biggest detour we think.
