  10. Fuel leak train stuck for more than 4 hourspublished at 16:10 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2017

Passengers have been tweeting and calling the BBC after the Hull Trains service which got stuck earlier this morning still remains stuck.

The train struck an object on the track which ruptured fuel tanks leaving it at a standstill between Peterborough and Grantham.

    Passengers are now getting frustrated:

    Quote Message

There's no heat, there's no light, all the toilets are full. The crew have been absolutely fantastic but passengers are now starting to get fed up. They've sent people from Hull to fix it. The train's too badly damaged to be towed so we're having to evacuate the train. It's been awful it really has."

    Barry Green, Passenger

    Quote Message

The facilities have all run out. The toilets were full a while ago. I've heard secondhand that people have been told they can use a cup or something and dispose of it down the sink."

  11. Hull man sentenced to 18 weeks in prison for trollingpublished at 16:00 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2017

A man from Hull has been sentenced to 18 weeks in prison and received an indefinite Criminal Behaviour Order for trolling people online.

In June 2017 Daniel Kilvington, 23, of Morpeth Street, Hull was charged and found guilty of eight counts of sending menacing and grossly offensive messages on social media between January and March 2016.

He was sentenced on 4 December at Hull Magistrates' Court.

    Quote Message

We treat trolling as a serious offence which brings serious consequences. Kilvington sent malicious messages to four strangers on social media with the sole intention of causing them upset and anger. The victims had suffered personal tragedy and he chose to target them for no discernible reason. His actions made his victims lives misery and made already difficult situation worse. I hope he is truly disgusted with himself."

  14. Fears over future of charity helping new mumspublished at 14:44 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2017

    Vicky Johnson
    BBC Look North

There are fears an award-winning project which supports thousands of women in Hull during and after pregnancy could be cut.

The scheme relies on council funding to coordinate the hundreds of volunteers who help women across the city, who don't have family support.

But now Hull City Council has to find huge savings from its public health budget and some worry the Doula project could be a victim.

Nikola Bandyoea (pictured) is from the Czech Republic and doesn't have any close family nearby. She says the help from the charity is invaluable:
