Last month, the Sue Ryder charity announced plans to shut Holme Hall at Holme-on-Spalding-Moor by the end of March 2018.

The centre currently provides cares for people with life-changing neurological conditions such as motor neurone disease and severe strokes.

The charity says it took the decision to close because it has had difficulties recruiting enough staff.

The council says it has a dedicated team of staff working with the charity to find new accommodation for the residents.
