The limited edition book is called 365 and contains 200 pages of photographs and poems reflecting Hull's 2017 season.
More than 3.5 million people attended City of Culture events in Hull last year, according to the city council.
Hull was the second city to be given UK City Culture status, following Derry-Londonderry in 2013.
All profits from the book will be used to help fund new cultural events and activities in Hull.

Two spineless hedgehogs found wandering in the street are being cared for by wildlife experts.
The pair, discovered in Bridlington, East Yorkshire, are believed to have a genetic disorder which means they are smooth rather than spiky.
They are now being looked after by staff at the Whitby Wildlife Sanctuary in North Yorkshire.
A cyclist from Hull who was involved in an accident earlier this month has died.
Margaret Roundill, 56, had stopped on her bike at the junction of Beverley Road and Springbank when she was hit by a red lorry.
The truck failed to stop and was later found in South Yorkshire.
Police are renewing their appeal for information.

East Yorkshire and northern Lincolnshire is home to some of the most dangerous junctions in the region, it's emerged.
Three separate junctions on Spring Bank in Hull appear on a "most dangerous" list curated by Road Safety Analysis Limited.
The highest placed is the junction at Stanley Street, which saw a total of 18 crashes between 2012 and 2016.
