Gatwick Airport is currently experiencing problems with its information screens.

Earlier customers tweeted that the airport staff had resorted to listing flights and gate numbers on a white board.

It looks like Gatwick has now found another, slightly better solution - use its advertising panels, which are powered by Windows computers, to display flight information written in Microsoft Word.

Another posted: "This tiny whiteboard is the only departures information in Gatwick Airport right now; every screen is offline. Utter chaos."

Police searching for a missing Brighton woman have released new images as concern grows for her welfare.

Tiina Proffitt, 50, was reported missing from her home in Fiveways on Friday.

Investigations have revealed she made two transactions at shops in the Woodbourne Avenue area of Brighton that day.

Police and Search and Rescue volunteers scoured the city and its surroundings over the weekend, assisted by a police drone and the National Police Air Service helicopter.

Tiina speaks with a Scandinavian accent and was last seen wearing loose fitting dark red trousers, a purple hooded-top, dark trainers, and carrying a white bag.

Det Insp Emma Vickers said her disappearance was out of character.

She added: “She has had poor health recently, has become depressed, and has lost quite a lot of weight.

“We hope someone, somewhere, has seen her or knows where we can find her.”
