Burke, 31, of St Helens, had been convicted the day before of harassing his ex-partner Laura Williams, who was in a relationship with Ms Hayes.

    Quote Message

I’m pleased with the sentencing Andrew Burke has received today and I hope this goes some way to give closure to Cassie’s friends and family.

No family should ever have to suffer the way Cassie’s has and my thoughts are with them at this time.
