According to Allied Glass Containers there were no injuries following the blaze, even though 21 people were inside the building at the time.
The building itself was being used as a warehouse and decoration unit.
Around 100 fire fighters were at the building at the height of the blaze, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say that they're likely remain at the site all weekend.
Lawyers representing two men accused of murdering a Bradford beautician in a so called 'honour killing' will seek to have the case thrown out due to a 'lack of evidence'.
Wakefield city centre is one step closer to getting a new cinema on the site of the Market Hall.
The council and a developer have agreed - in principle - the sale of the site and will now put a planning application forward for nine-screen cinema flanked by restaurants.
Quote MessageThe planned development will inject something new into the city centre, boosting the night-time family economy as well as the daytime economy, and bring more jobs and investment into the district."
Andrew Wallhead, Wakefield City Council

Have you seen this man? Police would like to talk to him about two robberies and an assault in Brighouse.
Detectives say that on Monday he threratened three 16-year-old boys in two seperate incidents. He took a phone and cash from one boy and a time later he assaulted another, leaving him with minor injuries.
Then yesterday he approached another two 16-year olds and threatened them and searched their rucksacks.
Officers say he is thought to have a tribal tattoo on the left side of his neck.
Quote MessageWhilst no one has been seriously injured, clearly these have been frightening incidents for the victims. We are appealing for anyone who has any information about any of the three incidents, or who can help to identify the person in the e-fit to come forward.
Det Const Natasha Wilson, West Yorkshire Police
Ambitious plans to create a country park in Kirklees appear to be over.
The owners of Farnley Estate had hoped to get council backing for a 1,500-acre park - featuring a cycle track and nature reserve.
However the park would've been funded through the sale of green belt land for housing - and last night it emerged it's failed to make it onto the council's master plan for housing.
The plan was popular amongst residents, with an online consultation receiving 10,375 responses, of which 8,839 were in favour of the proposal.
The scene of a fire at Cross Green in Leeds will take all weekend to put out completely according to West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
Scores of firefighters are tackling the blaze at a glass manufacturing plant on Towngate Link, an industrial estate on Cross Green Way.
At its height more than 20 fire engines and three aerial platforms were used to fight the flames.
We won't know what caused the fire for some time and no injuries have been reported.
Quote MessageThe building structure is now unstable and for that reason we cannot commit firefighters inside it so we are tackling the areas that are still burning from outside using aerial jets.
