    The family of York girl Katie Rough say they hope a play area can be constructed in York in her memory. 

    Katie died last month after being found with serious injuries in Woodthorpe and her funeral was held at York Minster earlier this week, led by the Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu. 

    A 15-year-old girl who's been charged with her murder is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court later.

    Problems are being reported on the M62 westbound at the moment.

    Two lanes are closed and there's queueing traffic and severe delays due to an accident involving a lorry and a car between J22 A672 (Rishworth Moor) and J21 A640 (Milnrow).

    On Yorkshire's roads, there are a few things to be aware of at the moment:

    • The A170 Hungate Eastbound in Pickering is currently closed due to gas main work between The Ropery and A169 Malton Road
    • There are narrow lanes and a speed restriction of 50 mph due to long-term roadworks on the M1 in both directions between J32 M18 (Thurcroft) and J35A A616 (Stocksbridge)
    • A lane's closed on the exit slip road on the M1 northbound due to roadworks at J34 A631/A6178 (Meadowhall)
