The family of York girl Katie Rough say they hope a play area can be constructed in York in her memory.
Katie died last month after being found with serious injuries in Woodthorpe and her funeral was held at York Minster earlier this week, led by the Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu.
A 15-year-old girl who's been charged with her murder is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court later.
Katie's auntie, Liz Gilpin, has been been speaking to BBC York ahead of a family fun day taking place this Saturday to explain more:

On Yorkshire's roads, there are a few things to be aware of at the moment:
- The A170 Hungate Eastbound in Pickering is currently closed due to gas main work between The Ropery and A169 Malton Road
- There are narrow lanes and a speed restriction of 50 mph due to long-term roadworks on the M1 in both directions between J32 M18 (Thurcroft) and J35A A616 (Stocksbridge)
- A lane's closed on the exit slip road on the M1 northbound due to roadworks at J34 A631/A6178 (Meadowhall)
