  17. Update on nuclear bomber's journey to Yorkshirepublished at 11:31 British Summer Time 28 March 2017

It's day two of an incredible journey.  A French Mirage bomber left Paris yesterday and is now on it's way to Le Havre to catch the ferry to England. I can't imagine how the ship will cope with the 23m-long (77ft) plane which weighs 31-tonnes.

It has been donated to the Yorkshire Air Museum by the French government. It's the only Mirage IV to be given to an independent museum and the only one outside France.

They were erected all around the country between 1914 and 1935.

Sheffield once had more than 80 of the lamps and now has 25, 20 of which are Grade II-listed.
