The two people in the CCTV image (above) are believed to have witnessed the incident and officers say they would like to speak to them.
A spokesperson for the force said: "They were seen walking a large dog in Park Road. It's hoped they will recognise themselves and make contact."

Read MoreAlmost £9,000 has so far been raise for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) by a group of firefighters from Leeds who undertook the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge while dressed in their full kit.
Five members of white watch at Hunslet Fire Station completed the 24-mile route between Pen-y-ghent and Ribblehead on Wednesday.
The route takes in Pen-y-Ghent at 2,277ft, Whernside at 2,414ft and Ingleborough 2,372ft (pictured above).
One of the team was Mark Newton, the brother-in-law of Leeds Rhinos legend Rob Burrow.
Mr Burrow was diagnosed with MND in December 2019.
Mr Newton said: "It went well until the last peak - that's when it hit home.
"It was like having razor blades on the bottom of your feet while somebody stood on your back, but we did it for one reason, to raise money for MNDA."
He added: "To everybody who donated, thank you very much, it means the world."
So far the challenge has raised a total of £8,714.
Six marmoset monkeys have been rehomed after being found living in a home in Bradford, it's been revealed.
The family was taken into care after its owner got in touch and asked for help, according to the RSPCA.
Inspector Kim Greaves, the animal charity's national exotics coordinator, said: "We were contacted by a woman who had bought two marmosets from a pet shop and now had a family group of six - three females and three males.
"She’d had the monkeys for five years and approached us to ask for help because she was struggling to meet their needs.”
The marmosets have now been moved to a private exotics specialist sanctuary in Cambridgeshire where they have a "suitable enclosure and carers who understand primates’ complex needs", the charity said.
In December 2020, the government launched a consultation - which ended in February - and proposed a ban on the keeping of primates as pets, external.
The RSPCA says it's welcomed the proposed ban after working with other animal welfare organisations and primate rescue groups for years calling for such a ban.
NHS worker Elinor Hewitt thinks there should be "massive changes" to West Yorkshire's bus services.
