Parents in Yorkshire are the worst offenders when it comes to taking children out of school in term time.
There were 25,422 penalty notices handed out to parents in the county in the year 2015 - 2016.
The rate in Bradford is three times higher than the national average, while York has the least number of penalty notices.
The UK's highest court today ruled against Jon Platt who challenged a fine for taking his daughter on an unauthorised term-time holiday.
Mr Platt was given a fine of £120 when he took his daughter away for a week.
Here's the numbers for penalty notices, external issued in our county:
Bradford Council dispute their figure and suggest the actual number of penalty notices issued by them is 4,985.
Here he is fresh from his first ever ride on a rollercoaster, the 105-year-old who marked his birthday by riding the rails.
Last year, Jack Reynolds celebrated his birthday by getting his first tattoo.
He's become a world record holder by riding the Twist-o-saurus at Flamingoland near Malton.
Jack says it was an exhilarating adventure:
A family from Doncaster, who are 'desperately' looking for a house suitable for them and their disabled daughter, say they worry they'll have to live apart.
Eve Phillipson, who is 15-months-old, needs round the clock care for a lung condition and there isn't a housing association home suitable for them to move into.
Parents Steven and Becca say it's put a lot of strain on the family.
A 90-year-old man who teaches children to read in West Yorkshire has said the role gives him "more of a focus in life".
Archie Gracie - who used to be a vet - has helped pupils at Wibsey Primary School, Bradford, with their literacy skills over the past 18 years.
He almost gave up after the death of his wife 10-years-ago, but decided to press on and returned to the classroom.
The headteacher of Wibsey Primary says he plays a "vital role." Archie says, he gets a lot of out if too:

It's being led by the City Of Sanctuary organisation, who say they want a permanent place for new arrivals to get information and support.
They're meeting supporters to discuss fundraising to secure premises on Chapel Walk in the city centre.

The original manuscript no longer survives, but visitors to the Bronte Parsonage Museum at Haworth will each be able to copy out a sentence of the novel.
The completed book will be displayed next year.
BBC Look North weather presenter Abbie Dewhurst seems very pleased to have received pictorial evidence of a meteorological phenomenon today.

The latest phase of regeneration at Park Hills flats in Sheffield will be unveiled this lunchtime.
The development of the once-notorious estate is now in its tenth year. The second stage will see the creation of a further 210 residential properties.
Mark Latham is the Regeneration Director for developers Urban Splash, he says enormous progress is being made:
The estate opened in 1961 and was the most ambitious inner city housing schemes of its time but by the 1980s, the flats were dilapidated and notorious for drugs and crime.
However, English Heritage gave it Grade II-listed status in 1997, making the brutalist complex Europe's largest listed building and preventing it from being demolished.
