    Ride entrants

    There's an opportunity today for amateur cyclists to tackle some of the same twists and turns of the Tour de Yorkshire route ahead of the race's riders.

    The ride is split into three distances depending on ability, from a 50km short route up to the 100km long route.

    Due to the proximity of the riders and the crowd, particularly on narrow sections and climbs, organisers warn people to take pictures safely.

    "Don't obstruct the riders" and "be extra careful with selfie sticks", the official spectator guide, external reads.

    The use of drones is also "strictly prohibited" throughout the race.

    Spectators along the route were spoiled yesterday, with the races stretching from a 09:10 start in the women's race to when the men's second stage finished at 17:00.

    If the finish line crash took most of the headlines on Friday, it was a local hero who took them on Saturday.

    Lizzie Deignan broke away from the field to claim the glory in the women's Tour de Yorkshire in her home county.

    The Otley-born rider attacked with 14km of the 122.5km route to go, finishing in Harrogate in three hours nine minutes 36 seconds.

    In stage two of the men's race, sprinter Nacer Bouhanni claimed victory from Caleb Ewan.

    Before they set off you get to take in the build-up, see all of the kit being prepared and you may even get to speak to some of the riders.

    Finish circuit at Fox Valley: The stage's finale will be spectacular! 

    Expect drama and plenty of thrills and spills - the finish will be a fitting denouement to Yorkshire's own professional cycling race.

    We have arrived at the final day of the Tour de Yorkshire, with no gentle cruise to the finish line in sight.

    The riders are facing the longest and toughest stage of the three, with climbs totalling more than 3,500m. 

    The 194.5km route features plenty of Yorkshire's most famous spots, including World Heritage Site Saltaire, Bolton Abbey in the Dales and the cobbled streets of Haworth.
