We're being told long-awaited refurbishment work at St George's Hall in Bradford will start soon.
Sources say it should be completed by the end of next year after the hiring of a contractor to do the work.
Concerns were raised last month by opposition councillors on Bradford Council about how long the work is taking.
Striker Jonson Clarke-Harris has agreed a new one-year deal with Rotherham United.
The 22-year-old suffered a serious knee injury in a friendly last July but returned to play a part in the Millers' final seven Championship games.
He is the first out-of-contract player to commit to Rotherham, who will play in League One next season.
"A fit Clarke-Harris is a handful against anyone," boss Paul Warne told the club's website, external.

More on that police incident in the Sharrow area of Sheffield this afternoon, officers say they have arrested a man.
Armed police were seen on South View Road and residents were told to stay inside their homes.
South Yorkshire Police have confirmed they have arrested a man on suspicion of firearms offences in connection to a West Yorkshire Police incident last week.
Officers also say that there is no cause for concern now the man is in custody.

Police think the people in these CCTV images are linked to an assault which left a man with a broken jaw and broken nose.
Officers think the people in the images are from the Sheffield area because of their accents.
The assault happened outside Pizza Royal on Corporation Street in Chesterfield in March.
There's an appeal for help, external in identifying the man and woman.

Scarborough will welcome back a familiar face at the Spa Theatre this summer.
Entertainer and comedy legend Bernie Clifton is doing his first traditional-style 'summer season' for more than 20 years.
The 81-year-old will perform for six weeks in a return to his roots...pretty much doing what he did when he started out.
Oh and don't worry - the ostrich is coming out of retirement too.

A man from Huddersfield is starting a 14 year prison sentence this afternoon after he was found in possession of indecent images and assaulted two police officers.
Christopher Hartley, 44 and from Fartown, was arrested last year in Cheshire on suspicion of possession of indecent images.
While he was handcuffed and in custody in the police vehicle he attacked the police officers. Both officers are still receiving medical treatment and one has been left with permanent damage.
Both officers have since returned to work. Hartley was sentenced at Leeds Crown Court today.

A Methodist minister used hypnosis on four boys before indecently assaulting them, a court has heard.
The Reverend John Price allegedly told his victims the hypnosis was to help them relax, before he carried out the abuse, Teesside Crown Court was told.
The defendant is accused of carrying out the attacks on two youths in the 1970s and 80s.
Mr Price, 82, of Ash Tree Close, Bedale, North Yorkshire, who is now retired, denies 14 counts of indecent assault on boys aged between 11 and 17.
The trial continues.

There's a police incident in Sheffield with unconfirmed reports on social media that armed officers are involved.
People have been posting that officers are at South View Road in Sharrow, and there are claims that residents have been told to stay indoors for their own safety.
South Yorkshire Police say they can't give any information at the moment.
It is feared visitors may damage or disrespect the building.

Crews are still dealing with a fire at a recycling centre in Rotherham.
Around 500 tonnes of plastics at Universal Recycling on Wharf road in Kilnhurst caught light yesterday morning.
Firefighters are now using heavy machinery to pick through the waste and put out the remnants of the fire.
Around twenty firefighters are at the scene and they're expected to stay there for the rest of the day.

Earlier we brought you the news that Scarborough's new state-of-the-art leisure village is to open on 5 June.
One of the main beneficiaries will be Scarborough Athletic Football Club who, after 10 years of playing in Bridlington, will be able to play home games in their home town.
Their first match there will be a friendly against Sheffield United on Saturday 15 July, and as you can see from this tweet, they're counting down the days:

A fire alarm that wasn't working has led to the former owner of a hotel in Sheffield being jailed.
Amandeep Sandhu, 42, of Turlands Close, Coventry, must serve eight months in jail for a string of safety breaches.
Sheffield Crown Court saw him plead guilty to five charges following safety inspections at The Cutlers Hotel in George Street in 2014.

After an earlier visit to York, the Prime Minister has now moved on to a factory in Leeds, where workers are asking her questions.
She made a short speech to workers saying the vote on 8 June would be a crucial one and outlining the opportunities that Brexit could bring.
She also said that she will prioritise the issue of citizenship for migrants currently working in the UK in the early stages of the Brexit negotiations.

Three of York City's loan players have been released by their parent club.
Asa Hall, Daniel Parslow and Amari Morgan-Smith have all been let go by Cheltenham.
All three were brought to York by Gary Mills last season, and are eligible to play in the FA Trophy final at Wembley on Sunday 21 May.
