Earlier I showed you a pic of the latest vehicle to take up space in North Yorkshire's police garage.

    TractorImage source, North Yorkshire Police

It turns out, despite being fitted with flashing blue lights and a siren, it’s not an operational police vehicle, instead it's making guest appearances at country shows as part of police efforts to engage with rural communities.

But the one thing it doesn't have is a name - yet anyway!

North Yorkshire Police are running a competition to find one.

To be eligible, the entry must be from a child attending a primary school in North Yorkshire or the City of York.

The best name will be chosen the Chief Constable, and the winning entry will be offered a visit to their school by North Yorkshire Police and their agricultural patrol vehicle, Tractor McTractorface.

Just joking! I'm sure no one will suggest that as a name.
