South Yorkshire Police have issued a "no insurance, no car" warning to motorists.
3,224 vehicles have been seized by the force in the last year.
As well as your car being seized, you could also get a fine and six points on your licence.

It's been another splendid day across Yorkshire, here's what the near future holds in store for us:
Tonight a dry and warm night with broken cloud, lows of around 13C (55F).
A bright start in places for tomorrow, but it'll soon cloud over with a little patchy rain spreading eastwards.
But all is not lost for sunshine fans, with brighter conditions returning later. Maximum temperature 20C (68F).

A Rotherham community police officer has won a gold medal.
PCSO Ernie Mpundu is now the Police Indoor Sports Table Tennis Champion 2017.
It's a contrast to his day job tackling anti-social behaviour in Rotherham town centre.
A rumour from South Yorkshire Police suggests he'll play colleagues using his mobile instead of a bat.
Bradford-based supermarket Morrisons has been fined £55,000 for food hygiene offences, including selling mouldy pork pies.
Inspectors also found staff at the store in Fleet, Hampshire were handling bread while wearing dirty uniforms.
The firm pleaded guilty to four offences under food safety and hygiene regulations, at a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court.
The supermarket apologised and said it had improved food hygiene.

She was asked if next polling day "couldn't come soon enough, given the state of the opinion polls?"
The Prime Minister replied that the only poll that mattered was the one on election day. "We'll see what happens" she added.
Mrs May was speaking to - and being questioned by - workers at a furniture-making factory.

Police are investigating a suspected arson attack on a house in Sheffield.
Something was poured through the letterbox of a property on Montford Drive in Burngreave and set alight while people were asleep upstairs.
The front door and hallway were damaged but no-one was hurt.
Anyone with information is asked to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101.
A six-year-old girl almost drowned when her hair was sucked into a swimming pool filter, her mother has said.
Darcey Morgan, from Leeds, was trapped for more than two minutes when she became stuck underwater at a resort hotel in Lanzarote. She was given CPR by the poolside before being rushed to hospital in Arrecife where she was kept overnight.
Her mother Alex said fellow holidaymakers helped to pull Darcey to safety.
Travel company First Choice said it had launched a "full and thorough investigation" into the incident.

Approval has been given for a devlopment on the corner of Sheffield United's ground.
45 flats will be built as well as a 6,600 square foot superstore selling Blades merchandise.
It's part of the club's long term business plan.
A man has been arrested this afternoon following a serious sexual assault in York in the early hours of Monday morning.
He was identified after a CCTV appeal earlier today.
Police say that he is expected to remain in custody overnight for questioning.

A team of charity fundraisers in Doncaster has volunteered for a rowing challenge.
But they're up a creek without a paddle unless someone with experience of rowing can help steer them in the right direction.
The St John's Hospice staff will field a team for the Doncaster Lakeside Dragon Boat Race next month.

A big education march starts in Sheffield today.
The president of the National Union of Teachers is leading what they are calling a People's March for Education.
The walking starts in Sheffield, passes through Dronfield and Chesterfield before reaching a rally in Nottingham on Saturday.
