Finance insurer CPP is to move its HQ from York to Leeds, a change which could see about 50 people lose their jobs.
A spokesperson for the firm has told the BBC that 30 staff will go to Leeds - that's out of a total of 260 who work there.
Another 50 jobs could go because the firm is changing the way it works and increasing the number of workers overseas.

Read MoreIf you commute into Leeds and are fed up with the queues, then you might be pleased to hear that a new park and ride scheme is due to open on Monday.
Maybe the best part is that for all of next week, you can try it out for free - as, it seems, some of our city councillors have been doing (pictured above).
If you fancy giving it a go, you'll find it adjacent to the A63 Pontefract Lane close to junction 45 of the M1. The postcode for your sat nav is LS9 0PU.
The buses themselves sound pretty good, with wi-fi on board. And, according to the council, they'll "whisk" you all the way into the middle of town.
It might be that, in the words of the actor Michael Caine, "not a lot of people know this", but Greg Mulholland, Leeds North West's Liberal Democrat MP until last week, is also a bit of a musician.
Greg says one of the things he's looking forward to after losing his seat in the general election is getting back to making music with his acoustic folk band Summercross.
Here he is as you may not have previously seen him. And een if you're not into folk music keep watching to the end, because there's a wonderful, heartfelt note from his young daughter that might tickle your funny bone:
A man from Filey is wanted for recall to prison after breaking the terms of his licence.
