    Both of Yorkshire's regional TV news programmes, BBC Look North and ITV Calendar, are joining forces for the first time in their 49-year histories in memory of the late MP Jo Cox.

    This Friday marks a year since the Batley and Spen Labour MP was murdered and this weekend hundreds of Great Get-Together events have been planned.

    Christine Talbot from Calendar and Harry Gration from BBC Look North will broadcast together from Birstall Market Place on both ITV (18:00) and BBC One (18:30) where one of the events will take place:

    Earlier, we mentioned that Chesterfield had withdrawn from the Sheffield City Region devolution deal - but now it seems there's been another blow, with a further local authority pulling out.

    On Tuesday, Chesterfield Borough Council announced it was withdrawing from the agreement, and now Bassetlaw District Council has confirmed it no longer wants full constituent membership.

    The devolution deal would see an elected mayor take responsibility for transport budgets and strategic planning and have access to £900m of government money over the next 30 years.

    Bassetlaw's council leader, Simon Greaves, says the City Region Deal is no longer in the best interests of the area:

    An "escape game" set in a fictional asylum has been criticised by health professionals for "demonising mental health".

    The game, run by The Great Escape Game Leeds, challenges players to solve a series of clues to find their way out.

    Online advertising mentioning people "locked in straight jackets" has been said to stigmatise mental illness.

    The company has apologised for any offence caused but says the game does not "mock psychiatric illness".

    Sheffield's popular Tramlines Music Festival has announced it'll support the Refugee Council, external during the event next month.

    The festival, which attracts thousands of people to Sheffield city centre, says the Refugee Council, which works directly with refugees and asylum seekers, will be its official charity partner.

    Tramlines runs from 21-23 July and is due to feature many acts including The Libertines, All Saints and Toots and the Maytals in its line-up.

    It's back to the drawing board for devolution in South Yorkshire after Chesterfield pulled out of negotiations.

    In 2015, the Sheffield city region was one of the first to sign up to a government deal.

    It would see an elected mayor take responsibility for transport budgets and strategic planning and have access to £900m of government money over the next 30 years.

    But it's been plagued by delays thanks to a row over Chesterfield Borough Council signing up to the deal.

    A family who were moving house in Huddersfield had their removal van stolen while they packed thousands of pounds worth of their belongings ready to go to their new home.

    The white Transit had been loaded with furniture, kitchen appliances and jewellery outside their old house on Lightridge Road on 1 June.

    It was stolen as the family loaded a second van with their possessions, the van's registration is MV12 0HL.

    Police have asked if anyone thinks they've been offered any of the family's items. They should call them on 101.

    A major waterside development in Leeds has been put on the market aimed at offers over £32m.

    In 2012, property firm Allied London bought a 150-year-lease to Leeds Dock, then known as Clarence Dock, when most of the site's retail units were empty.

    One of the largest tenants is Sky, which employs 650 staff in its digital and technology hub.

    People in Bradford are being asked to donate clothes, toiletries blankets and toys to help the people who have been affected by the Grenfell Tower fire in London.

    The Metropolitan Police confirmed that six people had died in the fire and that figure was "likely to rise".

    More than 70 people are being treated at five London hospitals, with 20 in critical care.

    The appeal has been set up by the Guru Gobind Singh Gurdwara, where you can drop-off items between tomorrow and Sunday.

    Alice Cooper's original band, along with the man himself are reforming - 42 years after they split up - and they're coming to Leeds.

    Spend the Night With Alice Cooper comes to the Arena on 11 November and it's the first of five dates in their UK tour including London, Birmingham and Glasgow.

    The original line-up, not including Glen Buxton - the co-writer of School's Out - who died in 1997, have spent more than four decades apart.

    The promo blurb promises it to be "an evening of insanity with the heavy metal master."

    A man has been arrested in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, this morning after a pickaxe was lodged in the bonnet of a Range Rover.

    Armed police were called to the sceneCalder Road just before 10:00 this morning after a "report of a man in possession of a weapon".

    The man has been arrested on "suspicion of being in possession of an offensive weapon, affray and causing damage to a motor vehicle".

    According to witnesses, the buildings in the area are being converted in to flats and an argument broke out nearby.

    A man has been arrested after a boy was allegedly touched under his clothing in Settle.

    Police say that it happened on Sunday in a ginnel next to Whitefriars car park in the town centre.

    It's alleged that a man touched a school age boy inside his clothing.

    Officers are looking for people who were nearby at the time including a couple in a motorhome who may have witnessed the incident.

    Children at a primary school near Selby have been learning about what happens inside Britain's largest power station, without leaving the classroom.

    A pop-up studio was set up at Carlton in Snaith Primary to reveal the inner workings of Drax Power plant, using a 360 degree video, with animation and graphics projected on to the ceiling.

    The mobile cinema was housed inside an inflatable replica of the giant biomass storage domes at Drax Power Station near Selby.

    The video showed how Drax has upgraded half the power station to run on sustainable biomass in place of coal, to become the UK’s biggest single site renewable energy generator.

    This virtual tour of the plant will also be shown at other schools across Yorkshire.

    A 15-year-old boy who was arrested after reports of a person seen carrying a gun in Silsden yesterday has been released without charge.

    Police have seized small BB gun which will be destroyed. Armed police were called to the scene yesterday morning.
