Leeds City Council says it's carrying out an immediate review of all fire safety and prevention measures at its tower blocks to make sure that they "continue to be robust and fit for purpose".

High-rise blocks in Leeds have undergone a £12m refurbishment programme over the last three years, which has included improvements in fire safety.

    Quote Message

Here in Leeds we take the safety of our tenants extremely seriously. However, we are not complacent. We will be undertaking a review of all fire prevention measures."

They have been using a special metre-wide cradle to paint the huge mural and have been using a special grid system to make sure they're painting on the right part of the wall.
