    Barnsley will say goodbye to one of it's local heroes today; Policeman Bill Harber directed traffic throughout the fifties and sixties and was famous for his very large and distinctive moustache.

    He died earlier this month at the age of 86. His funeral is being held at St Austins Church in Wakefield later this morning.

    People living in three west Yorkshire high rise flats have been told the cladding on their building is unsafe.

    It's after the panels on the buildings in Halifax failed government safety tests, brought in after the Grenfell Tower disaster.

    A police report into the Student's Union building at Sheffield University has found an underlying issue of drugs supply and consumption at the premises.

    22-year old Sheffield Hallam University student, Joana Burns, died last month after taking ecstasy during a night out at the Foundry.

    The report - which was compiled for a Council licensing review later this week - also said a "large quantity" of drugs was seized by door staff on the night of the incident.

    The Foundry's website says Sheffield Students' Union operates a zero-tolerance policy towards drugs consumption, possession and dealing.

    The funeral of a teenage girl who died in the Manchester Arena bombing will take place in Leeds today.

    Sorrell Leczkowski was 14-years-old and lived in Adel. Her family say they're grateful for all the thoughts and wishes they have received since her death.

    Six people from Yorkshire were among those killed in the terror attack in May.
