    A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital following an accident just outside Flamingoland at Kirby Misperton in North Yorkshire.

    Emergency services were called at about 11:00 after reports a motorcycle had crashed into a car on the A169 between Malton and Pickering.

    The teenage male was taken to James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough suffering from head and chest injuries.

    Burnley have signed Charlie Taylor from Leeds United, joining the Clarets on a four-year contract.

    The full-back turned down an offer to stay at Leeds, where he was out of contract, but Burnley will still have to pay a fee as he is under 24.

    Burnley have so far been unable to agree a fee with Leeds for Taylor, and the matter is likely to be settled by a tribunal.

    The University of Sheffield's been ordered to tighten up some of its security procedures to stop people bringing drugs into one of its club venues.

    It comes after the death of 22-year-old Joana Burns, a student from Sheffield Hallam University, who died after taking MDMA for a "final fling" to mark the end of university.

    Ms Burns had completed her Sheffield Hallam University degree when she went on a night out at The Foundry, at the University of Sheffield's Students' Union building, on 6 June.

    A Bradford man has been jailed for two years after breaching a restraining order against his ex-partner.

    Benjamin Jarvis, 31, of Bradford Road, made threatening telephone calls which was a direct breach of the restraining order he'd been put under.

    He was given two years in jail after being imprisoned for another similar offence in January.

    Prince Harry has said the "the dial seems to have shifted" in terms of people feeling they can open up about their mental health struggles.

    The Prince reiterated his commitment to encouraging people to speak out and seek help for their mental health problems.

    He suggested that young people constantly checking their mobile phones was an example of how everyone would benefit from taking "a moment to process our thoughts rather than rushing from one thing to the next".

    Harry was speaking at the start of a panel discussion at the Encouraging Happy Young Minds event, which brought together a range of groups focused on the mental well-being of young people in the city.

    Doncaster Sheffield Airport has unveiled early design concepts for a new railway station, external.

    The airport wants 25 million passengers every year by the year 2037 and a train station on the East Coast Mainline.

    The station could also serve local communities and businesses such as the Yorkshire Wildlife Park and new leisure attractions such as the European Tour backed golf course at Rossington.

    A study has been commissioned to determine the feasibility and strategic business case for a potential rail link.

    It will be awarded through a competitive bidding process, and should be completed by the end of the year.
