  1. Firefighters tackle shop blaze in Halifax

    Emergency crews have been tackling a large fire overnight in Halifax.

    It spread between a bank and number of shop units on Southgate.

    At its height, a total of 15 fire engines and about 75 firefighters were involved in dealing with the blaze.

    Appliances from across West Yorkshire attended, along with various specialist officers, the force says:
