Earlier on we told you about the Leeds man who had his unicycle stolen form outside The Tetley in the city.

He used it for his daily commute and even won a race on it, but it got us thinking - What else can you do on a unicycle?

Quite a lot apparently, just take a look at Flaviu Cernescu, he rode his on top of a 250m high chimney in Romania.

Ok, that's just a bit too much isn't it, I mean - Why?

But how about skateboarder style tricks on one? Unicyclist Hugo Duguay, even matched a world record for the long jump on a unicycle

But if all of that seems a bit too urban, how about heading out into the countryside?

Edd Hawkes from Dunstable is a mountain unicyclist who made it into the elite downhill category in the Mountain Unicycling World Championships.

Yep, that exists.

Police are at the scene of a crash on Harrogate Road in Harewood.

The road is partly blocked with very slow traffic around the crash.

The accident happened around Wike Lane and officers say that they are trying to clear the scene and return normal service.

County champions Essex thrash Yorkshire by 376 runs at Chelmsford to end the Division One season unbeaten.

Police in York investigating a serious sexual assault on a woman have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to.

The woman was attacked at around 22:00 BST on Sunday in the Bootham and Marygate area - Two men who were earlier arrested in connection with the incident have been released.

Officers want witnesses to come forward who may have seen anything suspicious around Marygate Tower on the night or who can identify the man in the CCTV image.

Earlier a 28-year-old local man was arrested in connection with two other sexual assaults in the city.

Police in Scarborough want to find Clifford Crane - He's wanted after failing to appear in court.

Crane, who lives on Maple Drive in Scarborough, was charged with assault, criminal damage, resisting a police constable, and drugs offences.

He was due to appear at Scarborough Magistrates’ Court on 11 September but never showed up.

Officers want anybody who knows where he is to contact them on 101.

Police say that an accident which happened on the A64 earlier this afternoon was caused by a stolen taxi which crashed at Bowbridge Farm.

A man has been arrested.

The taxi had been stolen from outside York Railway Station just after 15:00 and then collided with another vehicle on the A64.

Police say they weren't pursuing the taxi at the time of the crash.

A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection to the incident but has been taken to hospital after feeling unwell; no-one else was hurt in the crash.

A crash which gridlocked the A64 outside York earlier today was caused by a stolen taxi.

It's been months in the making, but finally wind baffles around Bridgewater Place are to be put in place next month it has been announced.

High winds around Bridgewater Place in Leeds were blamed for the death of Dr Edward Slaney, who was killed when a lorry blew over in March 2011.

The people behind the scheme say that between 13 and 22 October three of the wind deflection devices will be put up over Water Lane, which will mean the road has to be closed.

The large screens and baffle boards will be up to 50ft (17m) high and 66ft (20m) long and will look something like this:

Doncaster refuse workers are to be balloted over taking strike action in a dispute over job cuts, which could affect collections in the run-up to Christmas.

Members of Unite employed by contractor Suez in Doncaster will vote in the coming weeks on whether to begin industrial action.

In a statement Suez say: ''We are disappointed that Unite is balloting members for strike action while talks are ongoing and cannot understand why they would take this course of action prior to the end of the consultation, as no decisions have been made."

A multi-vehicle accident means that the Leeds-bound side of the carriageway is blocked.

The crash has happened between Bilbrough Top and the Slice Lane junction.

Vehicles involved now moved on to the hard shoulder of the exit slip on M1 northbound at J35 A629 (Rotherham / Chapeltown).

Lane one (of four) was closed but has now re-opened.

A West Yorkshire school's ban on sausage rolls and other "unhealthy" foods in pupils' lunchboxes has divided opinion.

The new policy at Shirley Manor Primary Academy in Bradford states parents will be contacted if banned foods are found in packed lunches.

It was Steve Fryer's son who had his sausage roll confiscated - but Mr Fryer said the school should "stick to teaching kids".

Others have praised the school for healthy eating rules, according to comments in the Bradford Telegraph and Argus, external.

Head teacher Heather Lacey said the vast majority of parents supported the ban and there had been a big increase in the number of children bringing in healthy lunches.
