A mother-of-five from a rural North Yorkshire community juggles seven jobs at once due to the lack of full time opportunities.
Kirsten Civil's part time roles include working in a cafe, running health classes and leading a cycling scheme.
The 47-year-old from Askrigg in Wensleydale said she had no choice but to take up several casual jobs.
A teacher was "absolutely shocked" a teenager talked about killing her unborn baby before murdering her colleague, an inquest has heard.
Ann Maguire, 61, was killed by Will Cornick at Corpus Christi Catholic College, Leeds, in April 2014.
He told several pupils in the hours before the stabbing what he was going to do, Wakefield Coroners' Court heard.
Other threats included stabbing pregnant science teacher Sinead Miley in the stomach "to kill the baby".
A North Yorkshire County Council meeting's had to be suspended after protests by anti-fracking campaigners.
This morning's Ryedale Area Committee was called off after the chair was overwhelmed by what the council leader's described as an "orchestrated level of disruption".
Also today - a 39-year-old woman's been arrested after trying to glue herself to the gates of Third Energy's fracking site in Kirby Misperton.
MPs have been debating the impact of loneliness on communities.
It was something that Jo Cox had campaigned about when she held the Batley and Spen seat.
Labour's Rachel Reeves - who represents Leeds West - fought back tears as she paid tribute to the work of her former colleague.
She highlighted research which showed being on your own can be as bad as smoking or eating unhealthily.
There are an estimated 1.2 million people in the UK who have "chronic" loneliness, with links to poorer physical and mental health and increased use of GPs, hospitals and social services.

Do you recognise any of these teens who police want to speak to after an off-licence was robbed in Bradford.
It happened at a shop on Otley Road, Undercliffe when one of the suspects threatened staff and stole cash from the till.
While that was happening another of the teens held the door open, and police think that a third person was involved but they didn't go into the shop.
No one was physically harmed during the robbery.

Health leaders in Sheffield are encouraging people to get tested for HIV during National HIV Testing Week, external which starts on Saturday.
This year’s campaign ‘Give HIV the finger’ focuses on reducing late diagnosis and emphasising the simplicity of a finger prick test.
The campaign is being supported by the charity PlusMe which helps local people living with or affected by HIV,
Research shows that one in four people living with HIV don’t know they have it and that people who are treated early are better able to manage the condition with the same life expectancy as people without HIV, as long as they stay healthy.

Community and voluntary groups will get a share of more than £120,000 that's been given to Voluntary Action Barnsley , externalwho say the money is a 'lifeline'.
It comes from the Big Lottery Fund and is expected to boost the work done by volunteers across the borough.
The charity says the money will be a big help and allow hundreds of people to benefit from its work.

Police are warning internet users to be on their guard for cyber-scammers after people reported large amounts of money being stolen from their bank accounts.
Police say in each case a caller pretending to be from the Technical Department at BT, told their victims that their personal accounts were compromised.
They then instructed them to install remote viewing software, which enables the criminals to access bank accounts.

People in Leeds are being encouraged to check they and their children have had two doses of MMR vaccine following confirmation that measles is circulating within the city.
Public Health England says there's been an increase in measles across the country over the year, with three confirmed and four suspected cases in Leeds since October.

A man is still in hospital after he was found with serious head injuries on Friday night in Todmorden.
A man has been arrested.
The 55-year-old victim was discovered on the ground at about 22:50 outside Pickles Court and detectives how now launched an attempted murder investigation.
Officers say they have arrested a 28-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder, he has been released under investigation.
The injured man was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where he is still being treated and is in a critical but stable condition.

A takeaway in Sheffield has been told by a court that it can't open at night for two months.
The Chicken Stop takeaway on Division Street can't open between 21:00 and 07:00 for the two month period..
Police lodged the application after a reported assault there last weekend.
Five people have been arrested and released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Police looking for two teenagers missing from their homes in Scarborough say they've been seen in Norfolk.
Annabelle Addison and Michael Moore are both 15-years-old. They went missing on Saturday night.
They hadn't been seen since 4 November and are not thought to have any money available to them.
Police say they were seen in King's Lynn town centre on Monday.
