    We've brought you continuing updates today with details of the fatal car crash that lead to five deaths, including three children, in Leeds over the weekend.

    A stolen Renault Clio hit a tree at around 22:00 on Saturday on Stonegate Road in Meanwood.

    A police chief said it was a "scene of carnage."

    Here's what we know so far:

    1. Six people were in the car at the time of the collision.
    2. Two 15-year-olds arrested, one survived the crash, the other arrested later.
    3. Ages of fatalities: Two brothers aged 12 and 14, a 15-year-old boy and two 24-year-old men.

  5. Police to give evidence to Child Sex Abuse Inquirypublished at 17:23 Greenwich Mean Time 27 November 2017

    North Yorkshire Police are to give evidence in the next three weeks to an independent inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse in the Roman Catholic Church.

    The force's involvement relates to Ampleforth College.

    The inquiry aims to investigate claims against local authorities, religious organisations, the armed forces and public and private institutions - as well as people in the public eye.

  6. Watch: Crews tackle blaze on Bradford double-deckerpublished at 17:03 Greenwich Mean Time 27 November 2017

    A double-decker bus caught fire this afternoon in Queensbury, Bradford.

    West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue service were called out to the incident on Highfield Terrace at 15:44 today.

    Crews from Fairweather Green station and Halifax station tackled the blaze in the engine compartment of the vehicle using two hoses and breathing apparatus.

    No-one was injured.

    Insurance giant Legal and General has announced it is investing £35m in a new leisure facility at Vangarde Way in York.

    The proposal includes a 13-screen cinema, restaurants and shopping outlets.

    The development is part of a wider regeneration of the area which includes the new 8,000-seater stadium for York City and the City Knights and a swimming pool and gym.

  9. Car and tanker collide on A64 in North Yorkshirepublished at 16:33 Greenwich Mean Time 27 November 2017

    A man's been taken to hospital after a collision between a car and a tanker on the A64 between Malton and Whitwell-on-the-Hill.

    It happened just before 15:00 this afternoon and the A64 has been closed westbound at the Crambeck village junction.

    The man was taken by ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary, his injuries aren't life-threatening.

  10. Leeds death crash: Police confirm ages of victimspublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 27 November 2017

    Police have now clarified the ages of the five people who died in the crash on Saturday night in Meanwood, Leeds.

    Three children including brothers Ellis, 12, and Elliott Thornton, 14, and Darnell Harte aged 15 died along with father-of-two Anthoney Armour and Robbie Meerun, both 24, police say.

    Amid confusion of how many were involved in the incident, West Yorkshire Police have clarified six people were in the vehicle when it hit a tree on Stonegate Road.

    Two 15-year-olds were initially arrested.

    One had been in the vehicle, the second was arrested later in the area.

    Det Ch Insp Jim Griffiths of West Yorkshire Police would not comment on the speed of the stolen Renault Clio prior to the crash.

    West Yorkshire Police now say that six people were in a car that crashed into a tree on Saturday night in Leeds

    Five of those in the vehicle died as a result of the incident on Stonegate Road, Meanwood.

    Two 15-year-old boys were arrested over the crash, one had survived the impact.

    The second was arrested in the area later.

    In a statement, Det Ch Insp Jim Griffiths said it was a catastrophic scene upon arrival, describing it as "total carnage".

    BBC Radio York has learned that striker Gary Martin has left York City because he played the final 10 minutes of a Sunday League match with his friends yesterday.

    The 27-year-old was playing for City on a non-contract basis but just 24 hours after scoring his first goal for the club in their 3-1 victory over Coalville, he came on to help Albion FC overturn a 3-2 deficit to win 4-3.

    York City said the only comment they are making is that Martin has left because of a "disciplinary issue".

    A 20-year-old man has been jailed for 11 years after sexually abusing three young girls in Rotherham.

    Benjamin Chivers (pictured above) from the Gleadless area of Sheffield pleaded guilty last month to raping a 12-year-old girl, three counts of sexual activity with a 13-year-old girl and three counts of sexual activity with a 14-year-old girl.

    Chivers was sentenced to 11 years in jail after appearing before Sheffield Crown Court this morning.

    He was also placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register for life and given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).

    The FA has confirmed a three-match ban for Huddersfield Town forward Rajiv van La Parra following his red card yesterday.

    The 26-year-old was sent off with a straight red for violent conduct towards the end of Huddersfield's 2-1 loss at home to Manchester City.

    He will now miss Wednesday's trip to Arsenal along with their visit to Everton and a home tie against Brighton

    Police are preparing to release more details following the death of five people, including two young brothers, in a car crash in Leeds at the weekend.

    Brothers Ellis and Elliot Thornton, aged 12 and 15, died in the crash in a stolen car at about 22:00 on Saturday in Meanwood.

    Darnell Harte, 15, and Robbie Meerun, 24 also died along with father-of-two Anthoney Armour, 28, whose partner is pregnant with a third child.

    Two 15-year-olds remain in custody after being arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
