A man's ban on having sex without first telling police has been reduced to two years.
John O'Neill, from York, had been given a Sexual Risk Order (SRO) for an indefinite length of time, which had several conditions attached to it.
North Yorkshire Police applied for the ban to be reduced to two years, to allow the court to be able to review it to see if it should be continued.
A judge at York Crown Court set the order to end on 22 September 2018.
The ruling was made on 21 December last year.
The SRO requires Mr O'Neill to disclose any planned sexual activity to the police or face up to five years in prison.
A Sheffield man arrested last week over an alleged Christmas "terror plot" has been released without charge.
Police say they are satisfied there are no grounds to charge the 21-year-old man, from the Fir Vale area of the city, with any offences.
In a statement, counter-terror police say: "We would like to reassure the public that public safety remains our priority at all times."
Two other men, Andy Sami Star, 31, who owns a chip shop in Chesterfield, and 22-year-old Farhad Salah, from Sheffield, have previously been charged with terrorism offences and remain in custody.

Huddersfield have signed Monaco and Netherlands defender Terence Kongolo on loan for the rest of the season.
Terriers manager David Wagner was keen to bolster his defensive options this month, and Kongolo has been signed before Saturday's FA Cup tie at Bolton.
The 23-year-old only joined Monaco from Dutch side Feyernoord in the summer for 15m euros (£13.38m).
"Terence is a top player who we've followed from his time at Feyenoord," said Wagner.
A vigil is due to be held later in memory of Yassar Yaqub, who was shot dead by police officers near junction 24 of the M62 a year ago today.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission said in October 2017 that it cannot publish its findings into the incident until criminal proceedings are complete.

A project to deflect strong winds around the building hasn't yet been completed, meaning that officials still have to take the precautionary measure.
The building's owner, CPPI, has already installed three "sails" on Water Lane beside the 32-storey structure.
Dr Edward Slaney was killed next to the building in March 2011 when a lorry was blown on top of him by the wind.
The stories of people who've been targeted by fraudsters and lost money are to appear on cash machines across North Yorkshire in a bid to help people protect themselves.
The ATM messages are part of a multi-media anti-fraud campaign launched by North Yorkshire Police which will also include a newspaper ad campaign.
Det Insp Jon Hodgeon, head of fraud and economic crime for the North Yorkshire force, says fraud is a "significant problem" in the county and there's usually a spike in incidents in January.
Shadow transport secretary Andy McDonald was on his way to a protest in Leeds when his train broke down.
