The painting, which features the word Libby and a hand holding a red rose, is first piece to appear ahead of an event in the area this weekend.
Local art collective Spray Creative are behind the tribute to the 21-year-old who was found dead last month after disappearing after a night out earlier this year.
Writing on Twitter Spray Creative said: "The first piece to be painted had to be something special, this one is for you Libby."

Schools in Leeds are failing to disclose important information to the police in a bid to "protect their reputations", a senior councillor has claimed.
Conservative councillor Amanda Carter said concerns had been raised at the Safer Leeds partnership.
Ms Carter said: "There is generally a lot of concern, particularly from Safer Leeds, that schools aren't disclosing everything they should.
"They are more concerned about protecting their reputations rather than telling the police."
In response, the region's Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Mark Burns-Williamson said issues were associated with communication between schools and the police.
Mr Burns-Williamson said: "When you look at the fragmentation of the education system - you've got schools, you've got academies - it really doesn't help."
The National Education Union and The National Association of Headteachers have both been contacted for comment.
A gin distillery in North Yorkshire is already back up and running after being devastated by a fire earlier this week.
Mason's Gin says its been contacted by dozens of local firms offering office space and even machinery to help distill their gin in other locations.
Co-founder Cathy Mason said: "We've been incredibly pleased with the response and kindness of everybody in the industry and the entire food production business in Yorkshire as well."

Police say they spotted the Ford car, which had been stolen from Bedford Street, on Holderness Road, but the driver failed to stop.
The car was followed onto Middleburg Street where the suspect tried to flee on foot but officers gave chase and he was arrested.
The man is currently in custody on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving, failing to stop, drink driving and burglary.
A popular Sheffield music venue has been "forced" to close blaming "mounting financial pressures".
The Harley, on Glossop Road, announced on Facebook of its intention to close with immediate effect.
Any further events will be moved, the venue hoped.

Rio Liburd, 32, of Pennine Gardens, was sentenced to 10 years and six months after pleading guilty to manslaughter.
Leeds Crown Court heard how she attacked David Baxter at a house on Elmwood Avenue on 8 September 2018.
He suffered bleeding on the brain and died a few days later.
Det Ch Inspector Jaz Khan said: "Liburd inflicted a violent and unprovoked attack on David Baxter by kicking him on his head.
"We welcome the sentence and hope that it goes some way to help David’s family come to terms with what has happened."
