Officers investigating the incident in February are appealing to football fans, as Wigan visit the KCOM Stadium later today.
The flyers feature pictures of a man police want to identify who was drinking in the New Griffin pub on Anlaby Road on the night of Friday 8 February.
Police want to find him in connection with the incident in West Park in the early hours of Saturday 9 February.
Det Ch Insp Craig Nicholson said: “If you are given a flyer, please don’t discard it as it may help to jog your memory at a later date."
Welsh rock band Stereophonics are coming to Hull, it has been announced today.
The group are set to play an "intimate warm up show" at the city's Bonus Arena, ahead of outdoor shows and festival appearances later this year.
On Twitter, the band said it was "pleased to announce" the gig, on Wednesday 22 May.
Tickets will go on sale this Friday.

British Transport Police say the man boarded a train to York after the incident between 20:30 and 21:00 on 8 March.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened to come forward.

The county council has relaxed rules to allow town and parish councils to buy their own flashing speed limit signs.
One of the first to do it is Nawton, near Helmsley.
Parish council clerk, Anne Twine, says: "It's a very difficult village because there are so many corners and you have to really risk your life crossing the road.
"When we shared a flashing sign system with another village people say they noticed it and checked their speed."
The police have raided antiques shops in Hull and Beverley.
Officers searched a business premises on Humber Street in Hull and North Bar Within in Beverley.
Searches were also carried out at a pair of residential properties on North Bar Without in Beverley.
Humberside Police say inquiries are ongoing with "no further details" to be released at this time.
A popular sculpture has been removed from North York Moors National Park for a new home in a neighbouring part of the county.
The Man of the Moors, was placed on Castleton Rigg overlooking Westerdale, but it now being transferred to Yorkshire Sculpture Park, near Wakefield, at its owner's request.
Writing on Facebook, The North York Moors National Park said the sculpture would be missed after it was moved earlier today.
Alena Grlakova, who had last been seen near a hotel on Boxing Day, was found dead behind it on Tuesday.

The victim, a 30-year-old man, is being treated for a fractured eye socket after he was kicked and punched to the head outside McDonald’s, in Briggate, at about 04:00 on Saturday 30 March.
Officers say the suspect was described as an Asian male, aged 18 to 25, with dark hair with a shaved face to the back and sides, a chin beard and a thin moustache.
He was wearing a pale pink polo shirt with a dark trim to the collar and sleeves, blue jeans and dark shoes.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact the West Yorkshire force.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a missing woman was found in Rotherham earlier this week.
Alena Grlakova, 38, was last seen on Boxing Day in the Parkgate area of Rotherham.
Her body was found on land behind a hotel on Taylor’s Lane, close to School Lane in Parkgate.
A 45-year-old man from Rotherham has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in police custody, South Yorkshire Police confirmed.
Police say a post-mortem examination was carried out yesterday evening, however the cause of death wasn't known and further tests will now be carried out.
Ms Grlakova's family, both in the UK and Slovakia, have been informed of her death, the force said.
