Officers say the white Mercedes Sprinter, containing all Limehouse Lizzy's equipment, was taken sometime between midnight and 10:30 yesterday, from Park Lane in Rothwell.

The group had originally feared it would have to cancel a number of planned gigs.

However, they've now been loaned equipment by fellow musicians to ensure they can still perform their booked shows.

Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious at the time, or has seen the vehicle since it was stolen, is asked to contact the West Yorkshire force.

A major fire at Easter Gate on Marsden Moor on Easter Sunday was started by a discarded barbecue.

It spread west to Saddleworth, Greater Manchester and at its height covered about six sq miles.

The Public Space Protection Order ban will be in force across the summer and currently lasts until 31 October.

The ban covers the Kirklees Council area, which includes Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Batley and Holmfirth.

Anyone found lighting a fire or barbecue on council, National Trust or Yorkshire Water-owned land faces a fine of up to £150.

Each council has paid at least £100,000 to host this year's event and some businesses have questioned the financial benefits it's supposed to create for them.

One fish and chip shop in North Yorkshire, North Street Fisheries in Ripon (pictured), is closing for the day as its owners say they have lost money on "every event" as customers can't get to them.

Meanwhile, on the North York Moors, Fiona Gardham, who runs a B&B in Goathland, has told the BBC it would be full anyway because it's a bank holiday weekend, so the business sees no benefit.

Welcome to Yorkshire says last year's event benefited the region by £98m.

Some countries fear Huawei is being used by the Chinese government to spy on people, and the US wants its allies in the "Five Eyes" intelligence grouping - which includes the UK - to exclude the company.

Last year, Huawei said the Australian government had banned it from providing 5G technology for the country's wireless networks.

Following a recent meeting of the National Security Council, it was reported the British government had approved the supply of equipment by Huawei for the UK's new 5G data network despite warnings of a security risk.

In the House of Commons yesterday, Labour MP for Hull North Diana Johnson questioned this move:

One of the children born with an undiagnosed illness is 10-year-old Amelia from Knaresborough in North Yorkshire.

Her illness affects the muscles and nerves in her body, meaning she struggles to walk and eat.

Her mum Lisa says: "Genetics is an evolving process and even in the last 10 years we've seen huge changes.

"I think a diagnosis wouldn't necessarily change anything for us, other than to give us some reassurance that we're doing everything we can."

The cameras detect changes in the water temperature and emergency services are automatically alerted when a person falls in.

A trial run of the scheme is currently being carried out in Bristol, where two people have already been rescued.

The University of Bristol's smart internet lab says other cities such as Manchester and York could take part in this initiative after expressing interest in the project.

In the past fortnight, four people have died in York's rivers with calls for more to be done to prevent similar tragedies.
