    An e-fit image of a man police want to speak to in relation to an alleged serious sexual assault has been released.

    The offence is said to have happened on the pasture near Beverley Racecourse at about 17:00 on 25 April.

    Humberside Police said the incident happened on a race day and officers have appealed to race goers who were in the area at the time.

    Det Ch Insp Craig Nicholson said: “As there is another race meeting on Monday I am hoping that people who are regular race-goers might be able to remember anything that could help us.”

    Jesper Asselman looks suitably pleased with himself after taking victory on the rain soaked streets of Selby on day one of the men's Tour de Yorkshire.

    The tour will head to Barnsley tomorrow for the start of stage two, before the riders set off on an 82 mile route passing through Pontefract, Garforth and Harrogate, on route to Bedale.

    Friday will also mark the start of the women's two-day race.
