    Featherstone Rovers and England international forward Natalie Harrowell has died, aged 29.

    Harrowell, originally from Hull, played three games for England and helped Rovers to the inaugural 2017 Women's Super League Grand Final, losing to Bradford.

    She also worked for Wakefield Trinity on a development coach basis, helping attract players for their women's side.

    "This is tragic news," Rugby Football League chief executive Ralph Rimmer said., external

    "She was part of a group of players who made history when Featherstone played Bradford in the first Women's Super League Grand Final in 2017."

    Harrowell was one of Featherstone's longest-serving players and won the club's 2019 Woman of Steel award.

    A Featherstone statement read: "Natalie was very passionate about women's rugby league and growing the sport, especially getting more young girls involved.

    "Our thoughts and condolences are with Natalie's young daughter Olivia and the rest of her family at this sad time."

    An incident in Hull, which started earlier this afternoon, has been brought to a safe conclusion, with one man arrested, police say.

    There has been a heavy police presence on Walgrave Street, with firearms officers at the scene, since mid-afternoon.

    A cordon was put in place and people were told to avoid the area.

    Humberside Police said earlier that they were responding to reports of a man assaulting a woman and threatening her with what was described as a weapon.

    Police say they're concerned about a 90-year-old man who hasn't returned to his coach in York city centre.

    David Fabian didn't return to the vehicle in Tower Street earlier today.

    He is described as white, of medium build, with grey hair and a full beard, and he's wearing a long blue coat and an Australian style bush hat.

    Anyone who sees him is being asked to contact North Yorkshire Police.

    A pool centre in Leeds has been closed for three months because of anti-social behaviour.

    Shaftesbury Pool Centre, on Harehills Lane in Harehills, was closed after Leeds City Council obtained a court order.

    It followed "repeated instances of anti-social behaviour in and around the building...which included fighting and other acts of violence".

    Only agreed individuals will be allowed into the pool centre during its three-month closure.

    Councillor Debra Coupar said: "I hope the steps we have taken in this case will send out the clear message of what we are willing to do, if any premises or businesses become a focal point for anti-social behaviour".

    The HGV has been toppled due to high winds, South Yorkshire Police said.

    It's happened on the A628 Woodhead Pass near to Dunford Bridge.

    The road remains blocked.

    A Leeds theatre company will take performances of Shakespeare's classics into the city's parks with a pop-up performance space next year.

    The free, open air shows will take place in Middleton Park, Reginald Park, Bramley Park and Roundhay Park next summer.

    Sections from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Twelfth Night, Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet will be performed.

    Audiences will also pick a random scene out of a hat, which the cast will then perform.

    The project is funded by a grant from Leeds City Council's arts and events scheme Leeds Inspired.

    Leeds-based theatre company Front Room will also perform a full production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Temple Newsam and Leeds Kirkgate Market in 2020.

    The aim of the shorter, hour-long shows is to "make Shakespeare more fun and accessible in an unconventional setting", said producer Alice Barber.

    "The themes of Shakespeare’s plays are timeless, but they can also be difficult to get your head round," she said.

    "By putting these performances on in a local park and bringing them a bit more into the 21st Century, alongside some familiar pop hits that fit the context of the scene, we can give people a new way to enjoy these fantastic works of literature in a much less formal environment."

    A man has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of another man outside a Sheffield cinema.

    Fahim Hersi died when he was stabbed outside Cineworld at Valley Centertainment in Sheffield's Lower Don Valley in September last year.

    Noel Ramsey (pictured above), 22, of Nottingham Street, Burngreave, Sheffield, was on trial at Sheffield Crown Court charged with murder but pleaded guilty to manslaughter earlier today.

    Ramsey was involved in an "altercation" with a man carrying a knife, police say, which led to a knife being dropped.

    The knife was then used to fatally stab Mr Hersi in the chest.

    A second man, Layton Morris (pictured below), 22, of Ferrars Road, Tinsley, Sheffield, also pleaded guilty to assisting an offender.

    He was seen on CCTV removing a knife from a bin, police added.

    They are both due to be sentenced tomorrow.

    Police are asking for the public's help in trying to find a man who's been missing from York since last week.

    Andrew Routledge, 39 (pictured), hasn't been seen since he left his house on Friday, according to North Yorkshire Police.

    He's described as being of medium build with a tanned complexion, brown greying hair, spectacles and a beard.

    Officers say they believe he might be in Scarborough and could be travelling in a black Fiat Punto.

    Anyone who thinks they might have seen Mr Routledge, or who has any information about his whereabouts, is being urged to contact the North Yorkshire force.
