    Castleford winger James Clare has been banned for three matches and will miss the start of the Super League season.

    The 30-year-old pleaded guilty to a Grade D offence of punching during a pre-season game against York and was fined £500 by a disciplinary panel.

    The Tigers will start the 2022 campaign with a home game against Salford Red Devils on 11 February.

    York's Liam Harris was given a similar ban and fined £300 after also admitting to punching during the same game.

    His team-mate Pauli Pauli was found not guilty of a Grade B dangerous contact offence against Castleford.

    Police searching for a 77-year-old man who went missing from Pocklington, in East Yorkshire, have found a body.

    The missing man, named only as Iain, was last seen at his home on Sunday.

    Humberside Police said the body was discovered on Tuesday afternoon in the Market Weighton area.

    Supt Joanne Roe said: "Although formal identification is yet to take place, Iain’s family have been made aware and are being supported as this time by police officers."

    The force said it wants to thank everyone who helped with the search efforts.

    Police asked people to avoid the area while the incident was dealt with.

    North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue, external says it has now been scaled down.

    No injuries have been reported.

    There are delays on the M62 in West Yorkshire following two incidents on separate parts of the eastbound carriageway.

    Two lanes are closed between junctions 26 and 27 near Bradford, following an incident involving a car and a lorry.

    Congestion is tailing back to Hartshead Moor Services.

    Normal traffic conditions are expected between 10:00 and 10:15, according to Traffic England., external

    One lane is also closed eastbound between junctions 30 and 31 near Castleford, with delays of about 15 minutes following a collision.

    Normal traffic conditions are expected to return by 09:00, Traffic England said.

    The charity Guide Dogs, external is asking for volunteers in Leeds to train puppies so they can go on to help people with sight loss.

    Julie Champion from the charity says: "In a nutshell, a puppy raiser will received one of our gorgeous pups when they're about eight-weeks-old, and they will raise them over the next 12 months or so.

    "It's a very committed role, no different to raising any other puppy. Puppy is living with you 24/7 and those early weeks can barely be left alone at all."

    The charity says it would like to hear from potential applicants who live in, or near to, Woodhouse, Woodlesford, Morley and Pudsey.

    Guide Dogs is also looking for people to foster older dogs, usually for a shorter time.
