Storm Franklin: Flood-hit roads in Doncasterpublished at 11:45 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February 2022
Several roads in the Doncaster area remain closed due to flooding as a result of Storm Franklin, the council says.

The roads affected are:
- Greys Bridge, Mexborough
- Ferry Lane (Jubilee Bridge), Thorne
- Fordstead Lane, Barnby Dun
- Low Lane, Kirk Bramwith
- Pastures Road, Mexborough
- Denaby Lane, Old Denaby
- Nursery Lane, Sprotbrough
- Water Lane (Bridge Hill), Stainforth
Doncaster Council is urging drivers not to drive into flood water.
In a statement on social media it said: "Be aware of any surface water and take extra care on the roads and don't drive through flood water.
"We've had some reports of motorists trying to drive through flood waters and getting stuck."
