    Remaining dry overnight but the cloud will increase and there may be a few patches of mist and fog too. 

    It will be much milder than last night with a minimum of 6C (43F).

    A dry but cloudy start to Wednesday with some patchy mist and fog early on. 

    It will be a milder day with highs of 15C (59F).

    I told you earlier Harborough District Council were piling three days worth of fly-tipped rubbish in Welland Park.

    They're doing it highlight problems like this...

    This was found on Mill Lane in Kibworth at 15:00 today. 

    The local county councillor says they need CCTV to catch the culprits.

    Detective Constable Julia Newton says the two scams they know about happened on 11 and 21 October.

    But they think there could be more victims who haven't yet reported it to them.

    She says: “If you have elderly relatives, neighbours or friends, please speak to them about this scam".

    Two elderly people in Loughborough have been conned out of thousands of pounds., external

    The victims received a call from someone pretending to be a police officer. They were told their bank account had been hacked and they were asked to withdraw all their money.

    They then put the cash in an envelope as instructed and gave it to a person they believed to be a courier - but it was all fake.

    Leicester's Hospitals Trust have teamed up with De Montfort University to develop a three minute animation video to help raise awareness of tuberculosis (TB).

    They say rates of the disease in Leicester are significantly higher than the national average. 

    On average 150 people in Leicester are treated for TB every year.

    We've now had a comment from East Midlands Airport on the government's decision to expand Heathrow.

    Their managing director Andy Cliffe says that now the decision has been made the government should focus on a new policy to maximise the contribution of regional airports.

    He says they want to double the number of passengers flying from the East Midlands and triple the amount of freight handled.

    The person that died in the crash in Castle Donington, external was a local lad called Ross Spencer.

    He was 17 years old.

    He was driving a Vauxhall Astra that crashed into a Jeep. The driver and passenger inside the Jeep were not injured.

    The city council is spending £250,000 on making their buildings more "dementia-friendly". 

    They say this will include having clearer signage and contrasting colour schemes.

    The money will come from their capital budget.

    The East Midlands Chamber of Commerce say they "welcome" the news that the Government have chosen Heathrow as their preferred option for airport expansion.

    The Chamber was backing the plan for Heathrow over alternatives at Gatwick or Stansted.
