    The village of Cossington, just north of Leicester is usually a fairly quiet place but locals claim this has recently changed.

    It's thanks to the closure of Syston Road where repairs to a railway bridge are taking place.

    It's meant Back Lane is being used as a cut through for drivers causing "chaos" for locals.

    Love him or hate him - Donald Trump will become the 45th President of the United States later.

    Dr Clodagh Harrington is a Senior Lecturer in Politics at De Montfort University and has been speaking to BBC Radio Leicester.

    She thinks Trump has set himself up to make big changes quickly.

    She said: "The only way he can actually do that is to by issuing a series of executive orders, bypassing Congress.

    "It's quite impactful but he has to be mindful that the democratic process does exist."

    Graham Walters from Thurmaston doesn't look 69... obviously a life full of adventure is good for him.

    He's rowed the Atlantic four times successfully and three times unsuccessfully.

    Now he's hoping to get in the Guinness Book of Records as the oldest person to row single-handedly across the Atlantic in the oldest boat.

    One said: "I'm enjoying it - it's going well. It's improving my rhythm because I've always had trouble staying in time as a guitarist."

    Bradley Smith is a music teacher and has helped put the turntablism lessons pilot together.

    He said students are starting by learning how to put the needle on the record and get their "scratch sample".

    He said: "This is a great stepping stone into music production. It's fun and it's trending and it's current for the children today to learn."

    Sir Peter Soulsby has previously told the Highfields Community Association he's not happy giving them more public cash.

    He said this complaint will be investigated but he's utterly unconcerned by it and that sometimes his job involves telling people he will no longer write them a blank cheque.

    The next city council standards meeting is due in March.

    The complaint by the Highfields Community Association states that the city mayor has failed to act within the principles of the city council members' Code of Conduct.

    It's raised concern about his honesty, accusing him of abusing his position and engaging in conduct that compromises council officers' integrity.

    It's the latest move in an ongoing row between the city mayor and the HCA, which independently runs the Highfields Centre but with council funding.

    A formal complaint has been made against Leicester's Mayor Sir Peter Soulsby.

    The Highfields Community Association operates the Highfields Centre on Melbourne Road in the city.

    The organisation has complained to the city council's Standards Committee over the handling of a long running dispute about funding.

    Some sad news about the search for missing Enderby man David Noakes.

    Last night police told us they had recovered a body from the water, external in Jubilee Park.

    A formal identification has not yet taken place but the body is believed to be that of Mr Noakes.
