The first dementia friendly store has been announced by the Central England Co-op and it is in Derbyshire.
The Society has linked up with Amber Valley Dementia Action Alliance and now the Ripley Co-op store has been improved to help people with the condition.
Staff in the store have also been given specialist training to allow them to help customers affected by the dementia - and new signage has been put in place in order to remove confusion for anyone shopping who has the condition.

The shadow chancellor John McDonnell was in Derby today as campaigning continues for the general election.
The Labour battle bus stopped in the Derby North constituency which was the most marginal seat in England at the last election.
Despite the heavy rain, he spoke to voters and told Radio Derby how Labour hopes to invest and renationalise the railways.
He talked about how keen they are to get Christopher Williamson back in parliament.

A rare classic car has been stolen in a burglary at a house in Buxton.
Police are trying to trace the bright red Triumph TR5 which was taken between 12 and 13 May from a house on Lascelles Road.
Police say the burglars took the keys from inside the property and drove off with the classic car.
They want to hear from anyone who's been offered the car or parts from it in the last few days.

A man has been charged with manslaughter following the death of a pensioner after an alleged altercation in Derbyshire.
Derek Levers, 86, collapsed at his address after the reported row in Station Road, Ilkeston, and later died in hospital.
Ryan Belfon, 31, of Stapleton Road, Ilkeston, has been charged with manslaughter.
He has also been charged with criminal damage, assaulting a police officer and fraud offences, Derbyshire Police said.
Mr Belfon is due before Southern Derbyshire Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

The initial investigation into the death of an 11-year-old girl who fell from a theme park water ride has found she died from chest injuries., external
Evha Jannath was on a school trip when she fell from the Splash Canyon ride at Drayton Manor Theme Park on 9 May.
Staffordshire Police says a post-mortem examination's been carried out and that an inquest has been opened and adjourned this afternoon.
The force says no date's been set for the full inquest and they and the Health and Safety Executive are continuing their investigation.

An online fundraising page has been set up to raise money for the funeral of 16-year-old Megan Bannister who was found dead in the back of a car in Enderby on Sunday.
The person that set up the crowdfunding page said: "This would be a massive help in allowing Megan to have that special day she deserves."
The page aims to raise £3,000 towards funeral costs - any money left over will go to the maternity ward at the Leicester Royal Infirmary in Megan's honour. The teenager was hoping to become a midwife.

Flowers have been left for 16-year-old Megan Bannister who was found dead in the back of a car in Enderby on Sunday.
The tributes are on Desford Road where the teenager was involved in a crash between a car and motorbike.
Her death however is not believed to have been the result of the crash and a murder investigation has been launched.
