    A five pound note thought to be worth £50,000 due to a tiny, engraved portrait of Jane Austen on it, has still not been found a year after it was spent in Leicestershire.

    Micro-artist Graham Short, engraved four notes and spent them in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

    He said he was surprised the note, which he used in Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe in Melton Mowbray, hadn't turned up yet.

    "The others turned up quite quickly around Britain. It could be anywhere, I just don't know.

    "If it does turn up, it'll be interesting to see how far it has travelled from this shop."

    An area cordoned off on a Chesterfield Street following the arrest of a terrorism suspect this morning has now been scaled back, Derbyshire police confirmed.

    Four men were arrested early on Tuesday in South Yorkshire and Derbyshire over an alleged Islamist terror plot which could have happened at Christmas.

    Supt Michelle Shooter said: “I would like to thank the people of the town for their patience and understanding during the unavoidable disruption.

    “We are continuing to support officers from Counter Terrorism Policing North East as the investigation continues, but are now in a position to scale-back the isolated area."

    She said officers will continue to patrol the area to "offer reassurance to the public".

    I’m not convinced Claude Puel will select his "strongest 11" given Leicester face Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday.

    As for tonight’s opponents; Pep Guardiola could change all 11 and still have tens of millions of pounds worth of talent in the team.

    Leicester will be massive underdogs in this one, the way they like it.

    These people were among the first to try out the new vending machine which supplies free food and other items to the homeless in Nottingham.

    It is placed at Broadmarsh Shopping Centre and allows people to use it three times a week for two weeks at a time.

    The charity Action Hunger is behind the idea, which will allow people to get water, clothes and toiletries from the machine.

    Nottinghamshire Police dealt with more than 1,500 reports of crimes involving social media last year, according to figures.

    The majority of these incidents happened on Facebook according to a Freedom of Information request which showed 62 people were charged in 2016.

    Crimes like blackmail, harassment, child sex abuse, conspiracy to murder and threats to kill were all investigated.

    It comes as senior executives from Facebook, Twitter and Google have been giving evidence to MPs about tackling the growing rise in online hate crime.

    Police have released CCTV footage as part of a renewed appeal after a man's jaw was broken in an assault.

    A 31-year-old man was attacked by another man in Bridlesmith Gate, Nottingham, at about 3:30 on 30 July.

    Nottinghamshire Police, external said a man was voluntarily interviewed following a previous appeal but has been released without charge.

    Officers now want to speak to the man in this footage.

    Four men were arrested by counter terrorism officers in Sheffield and Chesterfield.

    Police say these arrests were intelligence-led.

    Information given to the police by the public has helped track down the owner of dogs which fatally attacked this Yorkshire Terrier in Derby.

    Mitch had been on a walk with his owner last month when he was attacked at the junction of Castleton Avenue and Offerton Avenue.

    His injuries were so severe that he later died.

    Sgt Alex Wood from Derbyshire Police has said: “I would like to thank all the people who made contact with us after our appeal for information.

    “Due to the information we received we have now traced both the person who was walking the dogs and the dogs’ owner and will now be deciding on our next course of action."
