The leader of Rutland County Council has announced he's resigned from the job after just one year.
Tony Mathias is also giving up his role as ward member for Oakham South East.
Quote MessageAt the outset of last year there was a need for someone to step forward and lead the Council and I felt compelled to do so. Having undertaken this vital role for the past year I now understand just how challenging it can be. The time required to fulfil the role, and particularly time taken away from family, is also considerable. I now want to focus on family and living in what is a beautiful county."

Munir Mohammed is an "extremely dangerous terrorist" who was preparing a pre-Christmas attack which would "almost certainly" have resulted in death and injury, according to anti-terror police.
Det Ch Insp Paul Greenwood, who led the investigation, said officers do not believe Mohammed had selected a definite target but was trying to get orders from the so-called Islamic State.
Mr Greenwood said the 36-year-old had already begun planning his attack when he was arrested on 12 December 2016.
"He'd already started to acquire chemicals, already started to look at pressure cookers, on the delivery mechanism for an attack and was already in conversation with Islamic States operatives - I think he was very close to mounting some sort of attack.
"I think that attack would have involved the loss of life and multiple injuries had Mohammed had his way."

The couple, who were today convicted of preparing for terrorism in a plot, could have attacked Derby or poisoned supermarket food, the Old Bailey heard.
Food factory worker Munir Mohammed, 36, from Derby, and pharmacist Rowaida El-Hassan, 33, from north-west London, met on a Muslim dating website.
Mohammed fancied himself as a bit of a catch. He was a charmer.
He was so convinced that he was a ladies' man, Derby's own online Casanova, that he was aiming for four wives.
Even though along the way he'd abandoned the first on the migrant trail in Greece and never actually met the second.
As for the third prospective bride, British woman Rowaida El-Hassan, things didn't work out too well there either.
She found herself in the Old Bailey dock alongside him, accused of helping Mohammed prepare a major act of terrorism.
