    Two lanes were closed on the M1 near Leicester earlier because of a crash involving three vehicles.

    Emergency services remain on the scene but the lanes have reopened after the smash which happened between junctions 21 and 20 at about at 06:50.

    Nobody was injured in the crash.

    The families of two men who died in a crash near Buxton have paid tribute.

    In a statement, Mr Eyre's family said: “Pete was an outgoing lad who loved his friends and family."

    The father of Mr Edmonds said: “We will never forget Aiden and we have so many happy memories of the times we spent together.

    "Not a day will go by when I don’t think of him and we will always make sure his son knows how much his daddy loved him."

    Peter, pictured left, Aiden, pictured right, and 18-year-old Daniel Leafe died on 7 November when the Ford Fiesta they were driving was involved in a crash with a Land Rover near Buxton.
