A woman in her 40s is in hospital with "serious injuries" after she was hit by a car Market Harborough.
It happened just before 18:00 yesterday on Doddridge Road at the junction with Kings Road.
She was hit by a grey Audi A4 which was travelling towards Burnmill Road. The driver was not injured.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash.

The leader of Nottinghamshire's Labour Group is calling for all payphones in the county to be removed
It follows the removal of a "drug phone" in the city that was used more than 3,000 times last year, allegedly for drug deals.
Alan Rhodes has called phone boxes a "redundant technology", adding: "Most of them are unused and unloved. Many of them are in a vandalised state and subsequently they're becoming a bit of an eyesore.
"I think we need to take them out all together and allow people just to use their mobile phones."

A teenager has been charged with burglary and theft after a car was stolen from a driveway.
The 18-year-old from Mansfield is accused of two counts of burglary and one of stealing a vehicle after a break-in at a house in Forest Road in the town. He faces another charge of making off without payment for fuel.
He was released on bail and is due before Mansfield Magistrates' Court next month.
