A court has heard how a Nottingham man tracked down his victim before killing him with a single punch to the head.
Oliver Brown, of Digby Avenue, Mapperley, is on trial for the manslaughter of Stephan Walsh.
The prosecution has said Mr Brown went looking for Mr Walsh after their cars collided on 29 July 2018.
Mr Walsh, 37, had been drinking and instead of stopping, he drove home.
Mr Brown, 21, later turned up on his doorstep and punched Mr Walsh in the face.
The following morning he was found dead by his fiance. A pathologist confirmed he died from a head injury.
Mr Brown handed himself over to the police but insists he acted in self defence because Mr Walsh had been drunk and aggressive.
Mr Brown's girlfriend, Roseann Newton, also faces charges of assisting an offender.
The 21-year-old, of Findern Green, Sneinton, had been with her boyfriend at the time of the crash and was also there when he punched Mr Walsh.
The trial continues.
