For the last two-and-a-half-years the War Paint collection has toured the country, raising money to help injured service personnel.
It will now be based at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre in Stanford Hall, where those injured on duty will come to recover.
The tour, which consists of portraits of veterans from World War Two to the present day, painted by Caroline de Peyrecave, has already raised more than £80,000.
One of those featured in the artwork is Cathy Braddick-Hughes, an Army lawyer who was injured as she accompanied soldiers in Bosnia and Afghanistan.
She said: "There was a time where I emailed my husband and said, 'I love you all' and I didn't think I was going to make it out.
