It comes after details of a document - previously sent to police forces across the UK - were made public.
The document - entitled "what constitutes a reasonable excuse to leave the place where you live" - was issued by the National Police Chiefs' Council and the College of Policing,
On exercise, it states driving to the countryside for a walk is "reasonable" if "far more time" is spent walking than driving.
Quote MessageIf you don't need to travel in your car to go for a walk, because you can walk from your house, then actually don't do that.. There is opportunity for the majority of our communities in the county to go from their home address or very close to their home address without the need to travel half an hour to the coast".

A nurse who finished a 12-hour shift only to find her car had been damaged by thieves has been helped out by a local garage.
Kimberley Clayton's car had its catalytic converter taken while parked at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham on Monday.
Ms Clayton, a midwife who lives in Sheffield, said she had been "devastated" by the theft.
"It left me with no car and stuck 30-miles away from my home in Sheffield. I was stressing, not just about getting to and from work, but to be able to do the food shop and look after my family.
"As if life isn't difficult enough for key workers right now."
However she said a garage owner who heard about the theft had given her a courtesy car while her own was being repaired.
"I just want to say thank you to everyone who has offered help," she said.
"The level of support I have received has been incredible and my faith in humanity completely restored."
One man has been charged with theft while another had been arrested and bailed.

A hotel has been warned to keep to coronavirus restrictions after its bar, restaurant and beer garden were found to be open.
The Deincourt Hotel, Newark, received a prohibition notice after communal areas were seen to be operating as normal, said Newark and Sherwood District Council.
Breaking the notice could result in a penalty of £60, doubling with each additional offence to a maximum of £960.
Under coronavirus legislation, officials said, hotels are able to remain open for key workers and residents who have nowhere else to stay but meals can only be provided on a room service basis.
The hotel and parent company Best Western have been contacted for comment.

Leicester Hospital’s Charity is one of 150 NHS charities across the UK to receive a share of more than £17m raised by a 99-year-old war veteran.
Captain Tom Moore has walked 100 laps of his garden to raise the "absolutely fantastic sum of money" for NHS Charities Together.
Its chairman Ian Lush said: "Leicester Hospital’s Charity will get immediate funding.
"They’ve already had a grant of £35,000 and they’ll get another grant next week.
“Each hospital charity and each NHS charity will get money, which they can get straight to the front line."
Capt Tom originally aimed to raise just £1,000 for the charity by completing the laps before his 100th birthday.
But he has smashed his target after nearly 800,000 people made donations to his online fundraising page.
They had all undergone major surgical procedures at Royal Derby Hospital.

"To dump waste on any scale is unacceptable but this is outrageous," he said.
