    Nottinghamshire Police were called to a report of the woman being injured in Rosemary Street in Mansfield shortly after 16:00.

    The road has been closed while officers investigate, and the force has appealed for witnesses.

    A new walk-through Covid-19 testing site will open in Mansfield from Saturday.

    Mansfield District Council said tests at the facility - based at the Mansfield Civic Centre - will be self-administered, but parents can carry out tests on their children if they cannot manage to do their own.

    The site will be open seven days a week, between 08:00 and 20:00.

    It comes after it was announced mass testing will be rolled out across Nottinghamshire.

    A woman who died in a house fire in Costock has been named.

    Nottinghamshire Police said Mary Shaw, also known as Lynette, was found after the blaze was extinguished in Manor Close on Saturday.

    An investigation is ongoing but the 75-year-old's death is not being treated as suspicious.

    A man who was taken to hospital after the fire for non life-threatening injuries is set to make a full recovery, the force added.

    A town centre road which was forced to close due to a burst water pipe is now set to reopen on Thursday evening.

    Severn Trent Water said engineers have been repairing the pipe on Sherrard Street, Melton Mowbray, after a "significant leak" on Friday.

    The road was due to reopen on Tuesday, but the water company has since said its teams are "aiming to have the road open late on Thursday".

    "We fully understand temporary road closures like this can be frustrating," a spokesperson said.

    “We'd like to thank everyone for their continued patience."
